Strength, Wisdom, & Peace

Team Brandon was created to raise funds for a Liberty County School System family, the Hellgrens:  Rhett, Judy, and their 5 children.  Both parents are employed by LCSS, Judy as Principal of Frank Long Elementary and Rhett as a teacher at Bradwell Institute.  One of their twin sons, Brandon, was recently diagnosed with Myelofibrosis, a type of leukemia. 

A couple of weeks ago, Brandon had blood work done because he was feeling very tired and weak, which is totally out of character for Brandon.  Unfortunately, the blood work showed some irregularities, and the doctors have given him an initial diagnosis of Myelofibrosis. However, we are all thinking positively and praying fervently for complete healing!  Brandon has been getting treatments for his Myelofibrosis, which entails of filtering his blood. 

Insurance does not even begin to cover the costs associated with Brandon’s care!  Team Brandon was established to cover medical/travel expenses associated with his treatment.
